This is the “what”. The Gospel is simple, and it’s this simplicity that makes it powerful to save. The Gospel is simple, and it’s this simplicity that makes it powerful to save. Here are five ways to remember and share it:
→ Made for More: You were created for a relationship with God.
→ The Ugly Truth: God is Holy; we are not. All have sinned and fallen short.
→ The Price: The price of our sin is death and eternal separation from God.
→ The Good News: God, because of His great love for us, didn’t want us to pay that price. So, God sent Jesus to pay that price for us. He died on the cross and rose from the dead to reconcile us back to God.
→ The Opportunity: To receive this free gift of salvation, all you have to do is turn from your sin, believe in your heart that Jesus rose from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

This is the “how”. Jesus says in John 8:31-32, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Jesus says in John 8:31-32, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” The truth can only be found in the Bible! Here are some verses to include when sharing the Gospel:
John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”
Romans 3:23: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
